My Story

Hello! My name is Mathew Seibert, and I am the owner of MJS Knives. I started The New Edge Sharpening in 2019 with the goal of sharpening and repairing knives. In this process of restoring knives, I became interested in creating knives that were beautiful and functional and so began MJS Knives. In summer 2021, I made my first knife that I still use everyday in my shop. I now offer a one stop shop for blade sharpening and custom, hand-forged knives.
